The installation of GDU, necessary power generation units, condensate tanks and other infrastructure has been completed at Ayesha Fields.

The Plant is ready for commissioning. The Joint Venture has applied DGPC for further 2 years’ extension in Badin IV South Phase II Exploration License and in addition regularization of 5 months (due to previous delayed extension).

Govt. approved grant of Phase II in Badin IV North Exploration License ending December 5, 2019.

Joint Venture is geared up to drill further exploratory wells and work is in progress to finalize the location of well(s)

Board Members

Mr. Faisal Saud Al-Rashed - Chairman

Mr. Faisal Al-Rashed holds a degree in Business Management from USA. He has been Managing Director of the Al-Rashed Group of Companies since 1998. He has been Country Manager for Hempel Paints KSCC from 1991 to date. He is a Board Member for Kuwait Marine and Gulf Energy Holdings from 2006 to date. He was a Board Member for Kuwait Chemical Manufacturing Company (KCMC) in 1995. In 1996 he became the Chairman of KCMC.

From 1995-96 he was a board member for Middle East Chemical Company and from 1995-99 for United Industries.

Mr. Mohammad Al Taweel - Vice Chairman

Mr. Mohammad Al Taweel graduated with a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Cairo University in Year 1973. He is currently Chairman & CEO of Gulf Energy Holding Company (2013-present). He was Chairman of Technogas company from 2010 until 2013. He was also the Chairman of Technigas Company from 2008 until 2013. At present he is the Board Member and Vice Chairman of Technogas Company (2013-present). He worked with Kuwait National Petroleum Company for over 30 years in operations management, project management and refining operations.

He was board member of the following companies:

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC)
Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)
Kuwait Santafe (SFE)
Kuwait Shipbuilding and Repairyard Company (KSRC)

Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Rashed

Dr. Al-Rashed graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University and also holds a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is currently Professor of Electrical Engineering at Kuwait University. Dr. AI-Rashed is a member of the board of directors of Contracting and Marine Services Company (1998-present) and the Chairman of Kuwait Drilling Company (l998-present).

Mr. Munther Al-Mailam

Mr. Munther Al-Mailam received an accounting degree from Kuwait University in 1992. He is a long-standing member of the Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors. Between 1992-1996, he was Accounting Manager in the Bank of Kuwait and Middle East. He has been Managing Director of Kuwait Ahlia Aluminum Manufacturing Company since 1996 and a Board Member of Kuwait Gypsum Manufacturing and Trading Company since 2004.

Mr. Ghassan M.E.M Al Loughani

Ghassan M.EM Al Loughani has over 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specializing in MEP systems and project management in the Oil and Gas sector. He earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in the United States in 1996. In addition to his degree, he holds multiple prestigious certifications, including those from ASHRAE and ASME, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development and excellence in the field.

Ghassan began his career with Al Mulla Engineering Group, where he gained extensive experience in MEP engineering and project management. His career spans a range of industries, where he has consistently demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of engineering processes in complex projects.

Throughout his career, Ghassan has played a pivotal role in the successful execution of high-profile projects, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry, delivering innovative solutions to meet the industry's rigorous demands. His wealth of experience, combined with his technical expertise and certifications, positions him as a figure in the engineering and PM fields.
